New Adoption Rooms Open at Greenhill

Greenhill Humane Society has opened its brand new adoption rooms. Thanks to a sponsorship from Arlie & Company, the rooms are vibrant, welcoming spaces for Greenhill clients and their new four-legged family members.

Arlie & Company has a long history of commitment to animal welfare and was thrilled to be given the opportunity to sponsor the adoption rooms.

Greenhill Executive Director Cary Lieberman is wowed by the design. 7ldquo;The rooms have exceeded our expectations,” he says. “The interior designs, especially the inspirational quotes, are a joy and a celebration of the connection that happens between humans and animals.”

The adoption rooms give people and their prospective pets a place to get acquainted away from other animals and distractions. Lieberman believes this is key to getting a feel for a pet’s personality because some animals become nervous in the kennel setting.

Suzanne Arlie has two dogs that were adopted from shelters. “We can’t underestimate the importance of having pets in our lives,” Arlie says. “Mine enrich my life daily.”

“Pets enhance our lives in ways that we never expect” agrees Lieberman. “They teach us lessons that often we didn’t even know we needed.”

The adoption rooms feature fun, welcoming décor and inspirational quotes painted on brightly-colored walls. The rooms are designed by Amy Miller of Verve Northwest with vinyl lettering by Jeff Harris and painting services donated by Third Generation Paint.
