FAQ: Housing at Crescent Village

What type of housing will be available in Crescent Village?

When complete, Crescent Village will include 400 to 600 residential units. Whether in the convenience of a contemporary apartment above the retail spaces in the Town Center, the luxury of a loft-style condominium, the comfort of a garden flat, or the elegance of a rowhouse or town home, people with diverse lifestyles will find the right housing type to fit their needs.

Why such a diverse mix of housing?

Crescent Village will offer a broad range of high-quality housing types to accommodate people of various ages, lifestyles, and incomes. Arlie & Company believes that this is an important step toward encouraging the personal and civic bonds that are essential to an authentic, healthy community.

What are the key features of the housing units?

Crescent Village homes are designed to fit seamlessly into the existing neighborhood, respond to the Willamette Valley’s unique climate, maintain a northwest regional feel, and take advantage of the surrounding natural amenities and beautiful views. The following housing types will be available for sale or lease to meet the needs of everyone: young, single professionals, families, active retired couples, and everyone in between.

Town Center Apartments

The luxurious Town Center apartments will be available in over fifty floor plans ranging in size from studios to three bedroom penthouse units. Conveniently located above the active retail streets of the Town Center, these apartments will feature large operable windows, secure underground parking, generous outdoor decks, controlled-access entries, efficient forced air heating and cooling, and in-unit washers and dryers. Non-toxic and low- and no-VOC emitting materials and fresh air ventilation systems will ensure high indoor air quality that’s healthy enough even for those with severe allergies.

Rowhouses and Town Homes

The rowhouses and town homes at Crescent Village, which are being built by local residential developers Oregon Estates, LLC and Ruhoff Construction, will offer owners the amenities of a big suburban house without the maintenance burden and long commute. These single-family, 2,200 to 2,800 square foot, three bedroom homes will feature ample storage and living space, inviting porches, two-car garages, and secluded balconies. Each home’s small front yard and enclosed courtyard will use sunlight and low-maintenance landscaping to create comfortable, intimate outdoor living areas. These homes will be located on Lord Byron Way, a safe and pleasant five-minute walk from the many neighborhood shops, services, and restaurants of the Town Center.

Condominiums and Garden Apartments

Crescent Village’s condominium and garden apartment buildings will be located north of the Town Center and will be built in future phases of construction.

Is the housing energy-efficient?

Yes, all of the housing at Crescent Village will be energy-efficient. The Town Center apartments and single-family homes currently under construction will be EnergyStar and EarthAdvantage certified.

When will the housing be available?

Reservations are currently being taken for the rowhouses and town homes, the first of which will be available in September 2006. Crescent Village’s Town Center apartments will be available in the fall of 2007, and condominiums are expected to be available in mid-2009.
