EUGENE, Oregon - Arlie & Company has today submitted the final Planned Unit Development (PUD) application for the first two town center buildings in Crescent Village, Eugene’s first master planned urban village.
The town center buildings will be mixed-use and will feature retail stores and restaurants on the ground floor and high-end loft style apartments on the additional three floors above the shops. The luxury apartments will feature large windows, high level finishes and views to the Coburg Hills. The two building will house between 100 and 120 apartments.
Each building will have between 17-18,000 sq. ft. of retail space and Arlie & Company is currently in discussions with a number of local retailers and restaurants that share the vision for Crescent Village.
Project manager for Arlie & Company, Mark Miksis said, “This is the final planning step for Arlie & Company in fulfilling Eugene’s long term commitment to mixed use transit based development.”
Crescent Village has been awarded as a green building development project by the City of Eugene. The project will be a showcase of smart growth, sustainable design and responsible development. As part of this award, the Village will encompass a number of sustainable features that are often overlooked at other developments, such as using materials that provide a healthier indoor air quality, energy efficiency measures that will reduce utility bills and on-site storm water treatment to help keep our river clean.
“We are creating a responsible development that reduces the strain on the environment, creates a cohesive community and brings economic prosperity to the area” Miksis continued.
This is the second phase of the first master planned mixed use community in Eugene. The first phase, which encompasses single-family town houses being built by local builder Oregon Estates, will break ground later this month.
Founded by Suzanne Arlie in 1991, Arlie & Company is a diversified, family-owned real estate development and management company with a unique entrepreneurial spirit. Known for our innovative approach to design, we’re currently building Crescent Village, Eugene’s first master-planned urban village. Based on the traditional neighborhood model of dense, mixed-use development with pedestrian-friendly streets, Crescent Village represents a return to healthy urban growth and aims to improve the quality of life for residents and tenants, create a healthy economic and natural environment, and promote alternative transportation.
