Arlie & Company Partners with Local Builder on Residential Lots at Crescent Village

EUGENE, Oregon, June 21, 2005 –Arlie & Company has partnered with Oregon Estates LLC to construct detached townhouses and row houses on the eastern portion of Crescent Village, Eugene’s first and only master-planned urban village. Oregon Estates LLC has purchased the lots and construction is expected to begin as early as fall 2005.

Oregon Estates LLC specializes in building custom luxury homes and is locally owned by Todd and Jill Bardwell. “We are excited about this opportunity to be involved in a cutting edge, innovative project that is different than anything we have done in the past,” said Todd Bardwell.

“We chose Oregon Estates LLC because Todd Bardwell has an excellent reputation in the community for building quality homes,” said Lynn Jolly, Arlie & Company’s Director of Asset Management. “Todd shares our vision for Crescent Village and is excited to start construction almost immediately; we expect to break ground for buildings as early as this fall and to have units available by the first of next year.”

Arlie & Company first broke ground at Crescent Village in September of 2004. The town center’s infrastructure, which includes streets, streetlights, sidewalks, street trees, and utilities, is complete. High-end, luxury townhouses and row houses will be the first structures built at Crescent Village and other residences will include lofts, apartments, and condominiums to be built in later phases of the project.

“This next phase of development is exciting for both Oregon Estates and Arlie & Company because the design of these houses, combined with their location in a master-planned, mixed-use development, will make them unique in the Eugene / Springfield area,” said Mark Miksis, Arlie & Company’s Project Manager.

The partnership with Oregon Estates LLC provides the residential single-family component of the development, to coincide with the multi-family housing, retail and office space being built by Arlie & Company to create a vibrant, mixed-use urban “walkable” neighborhood.
